We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Washington for a number of Warehouse Operatives / Picker Packers on a temporary basis.Primary responsibilities for Warehouse Operatives will include:
  • Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently to meet customer demands.
  • Performing manual handling tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving items.
  • Working to strict Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure productivity targets are met.
  • Using handheld devices to locate products within the warehouse.
  • Ensuring all health and safety guidelines are followed at all times.
Warehouse Operative Requirements:
  • Previous experience in warehousing/picking packing or a similar environment is desirable.
  • Physically fit and able to walk up to 9 miles per day in the warehouse.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling products.
  • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude towards achieving team goals.
Full training will be provided to all new starters.The shift times are as below and ?working between 16 to 40 hours per week depending on the shift pattern.:
  • 6:00am-14:00pm,
  • 14:00pm-22:00pm,
  • 22:00pm-6:00am
All workers can choose from days, lates, nights, or weekend-only shifts - then rotas will be allocated so workers know exactly what shifts they are on throughout their contracts; weekend working will be required on all shift patterns.Basic Hourly Rate: £12.30 to £14.23 depending on shift pattern (Rising after 12 weeks)Please apply online if interested and we will be in touch to discuss further.
