Imperial Recruitment are delighted to be supporting Walker Filtration with the key appointment of a Warehouse Manager.

Walker Filtration, part of the global Atlas Copco Group, is a world leader in compressed air, gas, and vacuum filtration. With a strong presence across the UK, US, Europe, and Japan, they are continuing to invest in operational excellence and innovation.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Manager to spearhead improvements in material flow, inventory accuracy, and warehouse performance across a modern manufacturing facility.

The Role
As Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for leading warehouse operations, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring efficient and safe internal logistics. You will optimise material flow, integrate new warehouse technologies, and lead a high-performing team within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading Goods-In, warehousing, inventory control and material distribution.

  • Implementing lean methodologies to reduce waste and optimise processes.

  • Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety standards.

  • Driving WMS integration and using digital tools to improve accuracy and performance.

  • Leading, coaching, and developing warehouse and logistics teams.

  • Managing stock accuracy, reconciliation, and KPIs.

  • Overseeing warehouse layout, space planning and future capacity requirements.

Experience & Skills:

  • Proven background in warehouse/inventory management.

  • Strong leadership experience within a warehousing or logistics environment.

  • Knowledge of WMS systems (SAP desirable).

  • Lean / CI / Six Sigma experience (Green Belt advantageous).

  • Strong communication, planning and organisational skills.

  • Ability to lead change and drive improvements across teams.
