Job Description:
Are you an organised and detail-oriented professional ready to take the next step in your logistics career? As a Shipping Coordinator, you will play a critical role in managing the despatch of both international and domestic shipments. Collaborating closely with couriers, freight forwarders, and internal sales teams, the Shipping Coordinator ensures delivery issues are swiftly resolved and all shipments comply with aviation and export regulations.

In your role as a Shipping Coordinator, you will:

  • Coordinate carrier collections (road, sea, air) for timely despatch

  • Resolve issues like delayed or lost deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction

  • Handle courier claims and maintain compliance with proof of export requirements

  • Prepare shipping documentation and stay current with international regulations

  • Maintain accurate records in the shipping database

Skills & Experience:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Strong communication and professional telephone manner

  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively

  • Previous experience in shipping or logistics preferred

  • Minimum GCSE Maths and English (grades A–C / 9–4)
