Our client, a highly respected civil engineering and marine works contractor with over 90 years of industry expertise, is seeking a Quality Advisor to support the delivery of a major infrastructure project in Hampshire. Known for their work on complex civil, environmental, and coastal schemes, they pride themselves on engineering excellence and collaboration with public and private sector partners.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring build quality is maintained to the highest standards, while working closely with project teams, designers, and the client.
Quality Advisor Job Overview- Support project teams in developing and implementing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and associated quality control documentation
- Conduct independent checks and site inspections to ensure all construction activities meet contract specifications, industry standards and regulatory compliance
- Liaise with Supervisors and the client to coordinate and witness inspections and test stages
- Review and monitor quality control activities throughout the delivery phase, including civil works, pipelines and concrete structures
- Manage project quality records, ensuring timely submission of test results and relevant documentation to stakeholders
- Proactively address non-conformance and client-raised defects, ensuring corrective actions are tracked and completed
- Provide technical guidance to site teams and engineers to enhance quality practices and ensure consistent compliance across all workstreams
- Review design documentation at all stages to verify constructability and quality assurance
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by suggesting and implementing enhancements to quality procedures and daily operations
- Civil Engineering or Construction qualification (HNC, HND or Degree)
- Extensive experience on large-scale civil infrastructure projects, ideally including concrete and road construction
- Demonstrable knowledge of producing and implementing ITPs
- Excellent record-keeping and documentation skills
- High attention to detail and a solutions-oriented approach
- Comfortable communicating with designers, engineers, clients and delivery teams
- Familiar with CDE systems and platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud
- Strong IT skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- 0Full UK driving licence and valid CSCS card (Manager or Academically Qualified)
- Salary £45,000 - £50,000 per annum DOE
- Car allowance or company car
