Production Assembler
Location: Waterlooville, Hampshire
Salary: £12.50 – £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shift, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
About our Client: a well-established electronics manufacturer based in Waterlooville, is looking for a skilled Production Assembler to join our dedicated team. About the Role:
As a Production Assembler at Cherrytech, you'll be involved in a variety of assembly tasks, including board-level PCBA work and complete box builds. We're looking for someone with a proactive attitude, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- PCBA assembly using SMT and PTH soldering techniques
- Cable assembly using crimp tools
- Electro-mechanical assembly work
- Working accurately from engineering drawings
- Reworking PCBs as required
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in electronic assembly, ideally with IPC 610 knowledge
- Excellent component recognition and ability to work with fine pitch components under a microscope
- Ability to manage a busy workload and maintain high standards under pressure
