Description

Location: Waterlooville, PO7Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4pmSalary: £25,500-£30,000 + bonus scheme

If you’re practical, hands-on, and take real pride in doing a job properly, this could be the perfect fit. We’re looking for a reliable Workshop Operative to join a close-knit team of craftspeople in a busy, high-end production workshop. You’ll be helping create beautifully made, bespoke items for luxury residential interiors—no two orders are the same.

The work is varied and includes tasks like polishing and finishing metalwork, applying antique-style finishes, assembling and disassembling parts, and using a variety of light machinery and hand tools. You'll need to be comfortable with physical work, have great attention to detail, and enjoy being part of a team where everyone rolls up their sleeves to get the job done.

This role is ideal for someone who already has practical experience—perhaps from a workshop, construction, or hands-on manufacturing background—and is looking for a stable, long-term role where quality and consistency matter more than high-speed output.

Requirements

  • A positive, can-do attitude
  • Good attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
  • Experience using hand tools and light machinery
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 20kg
  • Basic computer literacy for tracking jobs and stock
  • A full UK driving licence

Benefits include:

  • £25,500-£30,000 salary
  • Company-wide bonus scheme
  • 20 days’ holiday + bank holidays
  • Free parking
  • Snacks and coffee provided
  • Pension scheme
  • Free uniform

This is a great opportunity for someone who’s hands-on, steady, and enjoys doing a job properly the first time. If that’s you, we’d love to hear from you.
