Our client, a leading manufacturing company based in Waterlooville, is currently seeking a Stores Operative to join their busy team on a temp to perm basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all stock and equipment
  • Receive deliveries and input onto MRP system
  • Report any discrepancies or quality issues to suppliers and raise reject notes as appropriate
  • Check all materials and components correspond to purchase orders
  • Ensure the accuracy of all recorded stock through appropriate systems and processes
  • Receipt and issue goods to relevant jobs or areas
  • Store goods in appropriate locations
  • Ensure goods despatched to the workforce are controlled and recorded
  • Monitor stock levels daily and input onto MRP system
  • Manage stock levels as appropriate
Job Requirements:
  • Experience in stores, stock control, or materials management (an electronics background would be advantageous)
  • Proficiency in using computers, preferably with experience of MRP systems
  • A Reach FLT licence is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided
