Position: Machine Shop Manager
Location: Waterlooville
Salary: 55,000 per annum, based on a 45-hour working week.
Machine Shop Manager required for a well-established manufacturer based in Waterlooville. The successful Production Manager will be responsible for leading and managing a team of manual & CNC machinists.
Machine Shop Manager Job Overview
- Allocating jobs in the workshop to the team of manual & CNC machinists
- Overseeing quality controls of parts
- Providing the machinists with technical advice and support with programming
- Assisting with project management, estimating and the purchasing of materials
- Producing progress reports on jobs
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives
Machine Shop Manager Job Requirements
- Proven background within production management
- Good understanding / experience with CNC Programming, setting & operating
- Experience with CAD/ CAM software is desirable
- Understanding of quality assurance processes
- Good planning & scheduling skills
Machine Shop Manager Salary & Benefits
- Salary: 55,000 per annum
- Working hours Monday to Friday 07:30 - 17:00. 45 hour working week.
