We are seeking an Factory Supervisor to oversee production activities across our double day shifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of operatives, ensuring production targets are met, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily production operations during allocated shifts.
- Ensure that production targets are achieved in terms of quality, output, and efficiency.
- Lead and motivate a team of operators, providing guidance and training
- Monitor and enforce health & safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Communicate effectively with other supervisors, maintenance, quality, and logistics teams to ensure smooth handovers and continuity.
- Investigate and resolve any production issues or downtime with minimal disruption.
- Maintain accurate production records and shift reports.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote a culture of lean manufacturing.
- Ensure equipment and work areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and order.
- Manage absenteeism, holidays, and disciplinary procedures in line with HR policies.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, rotating shifts:
- Early Shift: 06:00 - 14:00
- Late Shift: 14:00 - 22:00
Full training given on products and procedures.
This is a temp to permanent role for training purposes. Salary ranges from 12.70 to 13.70 per hour and is paid weekly.
