Behaviour Support Worker - Waterlooville

Prospero Teaching is seeking a compassionate and resilient Behaviour Support Worker to join a client school in Waterlooville. This is an opportunity to make a positive impact on young learners, helping them develop strategies to overcome behavioural challenges and thrive in their educational journey.

Contract Details:

  • Location: Waterlooville (Hampshire)

  • Start Date: September 2025

  • Contract Type: Full-time

  • Pay Rate: Minimum 13.96 per hour

  • Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A patient and empathetic approach to supporting pupils with behavioural needs.

  • Strong behaviour management skills to foster a safe and positive learning environment.

  • Enthusiasm for encouraging pupils to engage actively in their learning journey.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with pupils and parents.

  • Self-reflective, with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

  • Experience in supporting children with behavioural challenges is desirable.

Eligibility:

  • Right to work in the UK.

  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

  • Provide two professional child-related references.
