SEN Behaviour Buddy - Waterlooville

Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting for enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our client SEN primary school in Waterlooville as SEN Behaviour Support Buddies. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide essential support to pupils with specific behavioural and emotional needs, helping them thrive in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Contract Details:

  • Location: Waterlooville (Hampshire)

  • Start Date: September 2025

  • Contract Type: Full-time

  • Pay Rate: Minimum 13.96 per hour

  • Hours: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm


Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A patient and understanding approach to supporting pupils with behavioural challenges.

  • Strong communication skills to build trust and positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.

  • Enthusiasm for creating a calm and engaging environment for learning.

  • A willingness to adapt and implement strategies to support individual needs.

  • Self-reflective, with a proactive attitude and a desire to learn.

  • Experience supporting children with behavioural needs is desirable.


Eligibility:

  • Right to work in the UK.

  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

  • Provide two professional child-related references.
