Your new company A leading provider of enterprise security solutions is looking for a Management Accountant to join their finance team! The business grew massively last year and has many exciting projects on the way, and therefore they need someone hands-on who can support the business's growth. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our financial decision-making process. Your new roleReporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for :
- Prepare and submit CIS returns in compliance with HMRC regulation.
- Maintain an accurate record of subcontractor payment and deductions.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in accordance with relevant regulations.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, prepare cash flow forecasts and reports.
- Track the movement of goods.
- Prepare monthly management accounts.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
What you'll need to succeed
- Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
