Your new company A leading provider of enterprise security solutions is looking for a Management Accountant to join their finance team! The business grew massively last year and has many exciting projects on the way, and therefore they need someone hands-on who can support the business's growth. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our financial decision-making process. Your new roleReporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for :

  • Prepare and submit CIS returns in compliance with HMRC regulation.
  • Maintain an accurate record of subcontractor payment and deductions.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns in accordance with relevant regulations.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, prepare cash flow forecasts and reports.
  • Track the movement of goods.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
