Admissions Officer – Part-Time, Fixed-Term
Location: Watford
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Contract Duration: 4 Weeks (with the possibility of extension)
Work Days: Monday or Tuesday (1–2 days per week)

A reputable secondary school in the Watford area is seeking an experienced Admissions Officer to join their team on a part-time basis. This is a short-term, 4-week contract with flexibility in working days, either Monday or Tuesday, with the option to extend. The ideal candidate will have a background in managing admissions and attendance records, with a particular focus on using Arbor and Registrar for student attendance.

This role is crucial in ensuring smooth admissions processes and accurate attendance tracking, and will involve working closely with both the administrative team and parents to ensure all student records are managed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process student admissions and enrolment records

  • Maintain and update student data in Arbor, ensuring accuracy at all times

  • Record and monitor student attendance using the Registrar system

  • Communicate effectively with staff and parents to ensure accurate student information

  • Provide support with student registration and general administrative tasks

  • Assist in ensuring compliance with school policies and regulations regarding admissions and attendance

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working as an Admissions Officer or in a similar administrative role within a school setting

  • Proficiency with Arbor and Registrar systems

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently

  • Clear communication skills and a professional approach to dealing with both staff and parents

  • Previous experience with student data management and attendance systems is essential

  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
