Based in Watford, you will be joining an ever-expanding, ambitious manufacturing business with a great team, focusing on the production of mechanical & electrical parts and components.Offering a competitive salary with the ability to expand and grow within the role and the business, mixed with great benefits, this is an excellent opportunity for a Technical sales professional with a strong Engineering/ Manufacturing background to progress in their career.


Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Efficient pursuit of quotations to achieve order conversion.
  • Prompt follow-up of qualified marketing, advertising, direct-mail, exhibition and other prospect leads.
  • Providing a strong customer experience throughout the sales process
  • Ensuring all prospects generated from your own efforts are communicated to internal sales staff
  • Regular sales forecasting and updating of pipeline
  • Identification of potential new product

This is a summed-up list, and other responsibilities and duties will be required.


Skills & Experience required:

  • Experience in a similar role or similar sales-based role for a manufacturing/engineering business
  • Experience in a technical role, ideally from a qualified background - I. E Mechanical/Electrical NHD, HNC, or similar
  • Ability to learn new products and explain their use & benefits to potential customers
  • Approachable, confident and committed.
  • Open to travelling to customer sites and delivering sales pitches.
