We are looking for a Head Chef/Kitchen Manager to join the Kitchen Team.

37Â hours per week with alternate weekends off.Â

This role includes weekend work on a rota basis.
Applicants must be over 18 years of age.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare, cook and serve hot and cold meals for meal service.
- Provide for special dietary requirements where necessary.
- Ensure statutory Health and Safety standards in the kitchen and dining areas
- Liaise with the Home Manager when planning menus in order to provide a balanced nutritious diet, making the best use of available fresh food.
- Weekly stock ordering.
- Adhere to all Company policies and procedures within the defined timescales
- Ensure all equipment is clean and well maintained on a daily basis.
- Carry out any other tasks that may be reasonably assigned to you
- Experience of working in a catering environment
- Food/Hygiene certificate and/or City and Guilds qualification or equivalent is essential.
- Good Communication Skills
