Our client based in Central Watford is urgently recruiting for a Temporary Customer Service / Bookings Agent to join the team. Day to day you will liaise with customers and play a vital role supporting patients through their healthcare journey.

?? The Role

As a Customer Service Bookings Agent, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients, helping them schedule their health appointments with care and accuracy. This is a temporary position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing role.

  • Monday - Friday
  • 8:30am - 5:30pm
  • Central Watford
  • Some parking and near public transport links
  • Temp to Perm opportunity
  • The Permanent role would include weekend working every other week, with days off in lieu)
?? Key Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to email enquiries
  • Schedule and manage appointments using the booking system
  • Provide clear information about scan types, preparation instructions, and clinic locations
  • Liaise with clinic staff to ensure smooth appointment flow
  • Maintain accurate patient records and uphold data confidentiality
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with empathy and professionalism
? What We’re Looking For
  • Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role (healthcare experience a plus)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Confident using booking systems and Microsoft Office
  • A calm, compassionate approach when dealing with sensitive situations
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including some weekends if required
