We are currently recruiting for a leading Finance organisation for the role of Senior Data Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing business that specialise in UK property finance, delivering flexible mortgage and secured finance solutions through multiple brands. With a strong emphasis on technology and data, it offers a dynamic environment where innovation, collaboration, and professional growth are at the core.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop and deliver high-quality MI and BI reports across multiple business units, providing actionable insights to stakeholders
- Collaborate with the CTO and the Data & Reporting Manager to shape and execute both short- and long-term data and reporting strategies
- Analyse complex data sets and reporting requirements, transforming raw information into clear, meaningful outputs that support decision-making
Main Skills/ Requirements:
- Proficient in AWS Glue with strong ability to write Python scripts, for example for ETL processes
- Extensive experience with SQL, Amazon Redshift and familiarity with MySQL is a plus
- Strong background in data visualisation, preferably using Amazon QuickSight or similar BI tools
