About the Role
This position will give you hands-on exposure to tender planning, working alongside experienced planners and pre-construction professionals. You'll learn how to build and manage programmes, contribute to major bids, and apply your site knowledge in a more strategic, big-picture setting.
What You'll Do
- Assist in the preparation of detailed tender programmes for major civils projects
- Work closely with estimators, bid managers, and delivery teams
- Translate construction methodology and sequencing into well-structured plans
- Gain training in Primavera P6 (or similar planning tools)
- Receive mentoring from a highly respected Head of Planning
What We're Looking For
- Civil engineering background (Site Engineer, Senior Engineer, Section Manager, etc.)
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of project lifecycles
- A genuine interest in planning, programming, and pre-construction
- Detail-oriented with good communication and analytical skills
- Ready to take a new career direction and develop quickly within planning
