This is an Employee Relations Specialist role for a well known, national organisation based in Watford. Candidates must be confident and experienced in dealing with complex ER cases and able to advise managers on best practice.

Due to continued growth they are currently looking for an Employee Relations Specialist to join their team on a permanent basis to provide a high quality advisory service to the business.

Description

  • Develop and implement employee relations policies to promote a healthy working environment.
  • Handle all employee-related issues, including disputes and grievances, in an effective and timely manner.
  • Provide advice and guidance to management on employee relations matters to ensure consistency and fairness.
  • Conduct training sessions to boost employee engagement and understanding of company policies.
  • Collaborate with HR team to ensure all legal and company standards are adhered to.
  • Contribute to the development of HR strategies that align with the company's business goals.
  • Participate in internal investigations as required.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in employee relations.

Profile

A successful Employee Relations Specialist should have:

  • A degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Proven experience in handling employee relations issues from start to finish
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Live locally to Watford
