We're pleased to be partnering with an industry leading FMCG company based in Watford to assist with their recruitment of a commercial finance business partner on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will support on going projects while combining strong analytical capabilities with business acumen to influence strategy, optimise investment, and ensure financial discipline during a period of high growth.Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic partner to the commercial teams, providing financial guidance to support revenue growth, margin improvement, and profitability.
- Lead the financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes for commercial functions.
- Working with the international team to Identify risks and opportunities through data-driven analysis and regular KPI reporting.
- Contribute to systems and reporting upgrades or transitions
- Support commercial negotiations with key customers using financial insight and scenario planning.
- Develop and monitor project business cases, ROI models, and post-investment reviews.
Candidate Requirements:
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or equivalent
- 4-7 years of relevant experience in commercial finance, ideally within the FMCG or retail sectors.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills; proficiency in Excel and financial systems
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with a collaborative and influential communication style.
- A proactive, hands-on attitude with the ability to work both strategically and tactically.
