Purpose of the Role

To become part of a busy operational control room team managing the daily operation of a flagship shopping centre.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitoring the centre’s CCTV system to ensure a safe environment for all visitors.
  • Actively monitoring CCTV for hostile reconnaissance, theft, ASB or any other activity that may cause harm to the centre, it’s staff and guests.
  • Maintaining accurate records of incidents, accidents and near misses
  • Responding to emergency situations, escalating incidents as the develop and ensuring accurate resources are dispatched.
  • Monitoring systems, reporting any faults or malfunctions and collaborating with maintenance staff to resolve issues.
  • Keeping the daily occurrence log up to date.
  • Ensuring all centre operational compliance is met
  • Communicating with various parties, including members of public, emergency services and other town centre stakeholders.
  • Adhering to established protocols and procedures for all aspects of the control room.
  • Handling incoming calls, providing information and instructions for tenants, members of public and other stakeholders.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Good IT skills
  • Good standard of written and spoken English
  • Ability to work under pressure and part of a team
  • Strong decision making skills

Working Hours - 42 hours, 4 on 4 off

Salary - £16.04ph
