About the Role:

We are seeking an experiencedShift Engineerto lead the engineering operations at a high-performance Critical Environment locatedin Watford. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a critical environment, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of complex systems while leading a team of skilled engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and critical systems within the data centre.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and site-specific procedures.
  • Electrical fault finding and repairs.
  • Plan and execute maintenance schedules for critical systems, minimizing downtime.
  • Identify and implement improvements in operational processes and energy efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Idealexperience in data centre engineering or a critical environment.
  • LV/HV AP experience preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems (e.g., UPS, HVAC, BMS, generators).
  • Experience leading and managing teams in a high-pressure environment.
  • Relevant qualifications in engineering (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of health and safety protocols in a critical setting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
