3rd Line IT Support Engineer

Watford – Hybrid (After Probation)

£35,000 to £40,000

VIQU have partnered with an IT solutions provider who specialise in IT infrastructure, managed services, consultancy, software solutions and cybersecurity. They cater to a wide variety of industries, offering services to meet client requirements and enhance efficiency, reduce costs and leverage technology.

They are seeking a 3rd Line IT Support Engineer to provide 2nd and 3rd line support and maintenance on-site and remotely with a focus on desktop, server and infrastructure support. The successful 3rd Line IT Support Engineer will act as the escalation point for the service desk and will also work alongside the Service Desk Manager working directly with all managed services customers.

Essential Requirements of the 3rd Line IT Support Engineer:

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience working in an IT Support capacity, with at least 2 years in 2nd and 3rd line support.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Server operating systems and associated technologies including Windows Server, Windows Desktop, Office 365 and Active Directory
  • Possess strong working knowledge of Cloud and Hybrid Cloud Systems, including Azure, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive and Intune
  • Understanding of remote desktop services or Azure Virtual Desktop
  • Hold relevant certifications in Microsoft
  • Excellent communication and ability to provide exceptional customer service
