In this role, you will play a key leadership part in a dynamic events operation delivering elegant weddings, conferences and private celebrations. You will help shape seasonal menus, lead service for high-volume functions and ensure every dish leaves the pass to the highest standard.

Responsibilities as the Banqueting Senior Sous Chef

  • Running banqueting service smoothly across large-scale events with consistent, high-quality dishes
  • Supporting and deputising for the Head Chef, including stock control, GP and rota planning
  • Leading, training and motivating a talented brigade, guiding junior chefs to excel
  • Collaborating with events and operations teams to plan and execute bespoke menus
  • Upholding rigorous food safety, allergen management and kitchen cleanliness standards
  • Driving prep systems, section organisation and efficient production for volume without compromise
