Air Conditioning Engineer – Hertfordshire – £45,000-£50,000 Per Annum

Package Overview:

• Basic Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum (Negotiable based on experience) + Overtime + On-Call Payments + Travel Pay
• Full-Time, Permanent Position
• Location: Watford
• Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
• On-Call Rota Available

Our client is a well-established engineering firm seeking a skilled and motivated Air Conditioning Engineer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. With a strong reputation in building services and maintenance, the company continues to grow and deliver high-quality solutions across their client portfolio.

Air Conditioning Engineer – Role and Responsibilities:

• Carry out preventative maintenance, repairs, and fault finding of air conditioning systems.
• Identify and manage on-site risks, including critical spares and equipment performance.
• Respond to reactive maintenance requests and liaise directly with clients to ensure a comfortable working environment.
• Provide mechanical and electrical expertise across the site.
• Work closely with the onsite Supervisor and Account Manager to resolve building services issues in a confident and professional manner.

Air Conditioning Engineer – Skills and Experience Required:

• F-Gas City & Guilds Certification (Essential)
• Strong background in HVAC maintenance and repair
• Time-served or recognised mechanical/electrical apprenticeship
• Confident in diagnosing faults and implementing solutions
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
