Supply Desk is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary School Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Watford, teaching Year 1. The position is available from May half term or September, depending on the candidate’s availability.

Job Description:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to a Year 1 class in line with the national curriculum
- Work collaboratively with the Key Stage 1 team to plan and assess pupil progress
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes learning and wellbeing
- Support the development of early literacy and numeracy skills
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through participation in events and extracurricular activities
Our ideal candidate will:
- Be a qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Have experience teaching in Key Stage 1, preferably Year 1
- Be creative, organised, and passionate about early years education
- Show a commitment to inclusive practice and supporting all learners
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills
- Be proactive, adaptable, and a team player
- Hold a clear DBS check or be willing to apply for one
