About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 Primary Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking school in the Bushey area. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and shape the learning journey of young children in their early years of education.

As a Key Stage 1 Primary teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting the development of your students, and ensuring a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and inspire children within Key Stage 1, delivering the curriculum effectively.
  • Develop creative and engaging lesson plans that cater to a variety of learning styles.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing tailored support where necessary.
  • Foster a caring, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Contribute to the overall ethos and development of the school.

 

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
  • Strong classroom management skills and a nurturing approach to teaching.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A passion for working with young children and a commitment to their progress.
  • Ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience teaching in Key Stage 1 is beneficial but not essential.
  • Familiarity with phonics and early literacy strategies.
