Position: Full-Time Key Stage 1 Primary Teacher
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: (£33,075 - £45,037 per annum) - Dependent on experience
About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 Primary Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking school in the Bushey area. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and shape the learning journey of young children in their early years of education.
As a Key Stage 1 Primary teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting the development of your students, and ensuring a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and inspire children within Key Stage 1, delivering the curriculum effectively.
- Develop creative and engaging lesson plans that cater to a variety of learning styles.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing tailored support where necessary.
- Foster a caring, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Contribute to the overall ethos and development of the school.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- In-depth knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
- Strong classroom management skills and a nurturing approach to teaching.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A passion for working with young children and a commitment to their progress.
- Ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
Desirable:
- Previous experience teaching in Key Stage 1 is beneficial but not essential.
- Familiarity with phonics and early literacy strategies.
