As a Primary School Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in helping pupils achieve their educational and personal goals through encouragement, creativity, and tailored support.

Ideally, you will have prior experience as a Primary School Teaching Assistant in a mainstream or special educational setting, or as a care/support worker with young people who have additional learning needs.

As a Primary School Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

Providing 1:1 and small group support to help pupils reach their learning milestones.
Assisting in creating a positive, engaging classroom environment that promotes growth and independence.
Supporting teachers with lesson preparation, classroom activities, and off-site learning opportunities.
Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff to encourage progress and wellbeing.

Requirements:

Immediate availability.
Experience working with children and a reference to support it.
An Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
Live local to Watford or within a commutable distance.
