Career Smart are recruiting for a client that specialise in design and manufacture of mechanical products to the aerospace and defence industry and are currently looking for a skilled and reliable Sheet Metal Worker to join the team.
Job Description
You will be responsible for fabrication, assembly and finishing of complex sheet metal products and components.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using hand and power tools
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Assemble and install sheet metal parts and components
- Operate manual and automated machinery
- Ensure all work is completed to standards and complies with safety regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience as a sheet metal worker or similar role
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Skilled in using sheet metal tools and machinery
- Strong attention to detail and good communication skills
