LSA/ TA - 8:30am to 3:30pm over 5 days a week - Watford, Hertfordshire - Immediate start - Long-term role

***Working as both a Classroom TA and LSA on a 1to1 basis

***Full-time assignment (The school will also consider a Part-time/ Shared timetable)

The Role - As a Key Stage 1 LSA / TA, you will:

  • Provide support to teachers and pupils in a classroom setting.
  • Help create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide individual support to a designated pupil with specific learning needs.
  • Implement personalised learning strategies tailored to the pupil's Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) or individual support plan.
  • Assist with classroom activities to help the pupil access the curriculum alongside their peers.
  • Support social integration by encouraging the pupil to engage with classmates during group work and playtime.
  • Monitor and record progress in learning, behaviour, and emotional development to inform teachers and support reviews.
  • Promote independence by encouraging the pupil to attempt tasks on their own where appropriate.
  • Adapt learning materials and resources to suit the pupil's abilities and needs.
