MEP BIM Coordinator
Location: Watford (Office-based, 5 days per week)
An established and forward-thinking design and construction organisation is seeking an experienced MEP BIM Coordinator to join its growing team in Watford. This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in technically challenging and exciting projects, including high-specification laboratory and specialist facilities.
The Role
The MEP BIM Coordinator will play a key role in the coordination, development, and delivery of BIM models across a range of complex projects. Working closely with design, engineering, and construction teams, the successful candidate will ensure accurate model coordination and support high-quality project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate MEP BIM models across multiple disciplines
- Manage clash detection and resolution using BIM tools
- Maintain and develop BIM standards, workflows, and best practices
- Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure model accuracy
- Support project delivery from design through to construction
- Assist with BIM-related reporting and documentation as required
Requirements
- Proven experience in an MEP BIM coordination role
- Strong working knowledge of BIM software (e.g. Revit, Navisworks)
- Understanding of MEP systems within complex building projects
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Working Arrangement
- Office-based role in Watford
- Five days per week on-site
