Think Specialist Recruitment are pleased to be working with a great client of ours based within the Watford area. This company are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with previous experience within a warehouse to join a market leading organisation. The successful candidate will need to be Reach Forklift trained. Salary - £26,000Hours - Monday - Friday working 8:30am - 5pm with a 4pm finish on a Friday Watford based - MUST be local to the Watford area Some of the duties will include:
- Receive goods/take in deliveries
- Check goods received against the required items on the order
- Notify the office Operations team of any discrepancies or missing items
- Take multiple, clear photos of goods including quantities, part numbers, general condition, and final packaging
- Book in matching items onto the internal system
- Pick and Pack orders that are complete and ready to ship, including strapping and shrink-wrapping pallets and crates, as per order/customer requirements
- Noting and advising the office Operations team which items are packed in which pallet/crate/box
- Receive documentation from office Operations team to attach to orders, ready to be collected/shipped
- Load or hand over goods to collecting drivers, ensuring correct documentation is provided
- Arrange courier shipments as necessary and when requested by office Operations team
- Ad-hoc and weekly reporting of goods on hand
- A monthly stock-take out of hours (with overtime)
- Ensuring strict health and safety requirements are met at all times and in accordance with ISO standards
- Ensuring exceptional housekeeping and tidying takes place daily
The suitable candidate:
- Previous experience within a similar role
- Strong attention to detail
- Reach Forklift trained
- Strong computer skills
- Great communication skills on all levels
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Good computer skills
