Care Home Unit Manager - 50,000 per annum
Location: Watton, Norfolk
Type: Permanent | Shift Pattern: Mixed (Weekdays/Weekends)

Partnering with a respected care provider, PSR Solutions are seeking an experienced Unit Manager (RGN/RMN) to join a well-established care home. This is a fantastic opportunity for a clinical leader who is passionate about delivering high standards of care while driving continuous improvement across a nursing unit.

As a Unit Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Home Manager with the day-to-day clinical operations. Leading a team of nurses and care staff, your primary focus will be to maintain and improve nursing care standards, ensuring residents receive the best possible support in a safe and compassionate environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Home Manager in ensuring compliance with NMC guidelines, NICE guidance, and regulatory standards
  • Mentoring and developing clinical staff, ensuring best practices in medication administration, wound care, and resident assessments
  • Reviewing and updating care plans, maintaining accurate and compliant care records
  • Identifying areas for clinical improvement and implementing change where needed
  • Promoting a positive team culture focused on professional development and excellent resident care
  • Leading by example and being a visible role model for clinical excellence

Skills & Qualifications

  • NMC Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN)
  • Previous experience as a Clinical Lead or Unit Manager within a care setting
  • Strong clinical skills and a resident-centred approach to care with sound CQC regulations knowledge
  • Confident leader with excellent mentoring, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritise multiple tasks
  • Comfortable with IT systems and electronic care planning platforms
