As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and SENCOs, providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, and social-emotional challenges. This is an excellent opportunity for a Graduate Teaching Assistant looking to pursue a career in educational psychology, speech and language therapy, or teaching.
Graduate Teaching Assistant - The Role:
Full-time Graduate Teaching Assistant role in a welcoming Waltham Forest primary
82.14-100 per day
Support pupils with SEN across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
Immediate and September 2025 starts available
Ideal Graduate Teaching Assistant:
Degree in Psychology, Education or Childhood Studies
Previous experience supporting children (volunteering, tutoring, youth work etc.)
A committed and proactive Graduate Teaching Assistant
DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
