Description
- Provide support to the Finance Department by managing daily accounting tasks
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and produce monthly reports
- Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Participate in financial audits and coordinate internal controls
- Analyse financial information to assist business profitability and growth
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company procedures
- Prepare VAT returns and reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Assist with other accounting projects as needed
Profile
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with relevant software (e.g. SAP)
- Knowledge of accounting and financial procedures
- Understanding of data analysis and forecasting
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong ethics, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
