HGV Driver Required
Our new client is urgently seeking a HGV1/LGV1/Class 1/Category C+E Driver to start working out of their site in Wednesbury
As a HGV1/LGV1/Class 1/Category C+E Driver your duties will include the following:
- Driving a curtain sided vehicle
- Delivering the companies product to sites nationwide
- All loads are palletised therefore there will be no handball involved as all loads will be fork lifted off the vehicle
- Usually 1 to 2 drops per shift
- Nights out in a sleeper cab can be very occasionally involved of which pay an additonal night out allowance
The ideal HGV1/LGV1/Class 1/Category C+E Driver will have the following:
- Minimum 6 months on road HGV1/LGV1/Class 1/Category C+E experience required
- A valid HGV1/LGV1/Class 1/Category C+E licence
- An in date date driver CPC card
- An in date digital tachograph card
For the successful HGV1/LGV1/Class 1/Category C+E you can expect the following:
- An excellent hourly rate of £17.93 per hour including holiday pay (We also offer the option of accrued holiday pay if required)
- Time and a half will be paid after 8 hours worked
- £24.15 per night out allowance
- Weekly pay
- Regular and ongoing work
