Major Recruitment Oldbury are delighted to be recruiting for a professional engineering organisation who are seeking a 3 Axis CNC Operator to join their busy Darlaston site.
Duties and tasks will include:
- Set up and operate 5 Axis Hurco's and a ROEDER using setting sheets.
- Conversational program, set up and operate Hurco 5-AXIS to produce precise components to specification using WinMax software at the console.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Check your own work using a range of measuring equipment.
- Completing one offs and batch work.
- Ensure that production requirements are met in line with the production schedule.
Candidates welcome to apply for the role will have the following:
- a min of 5 years' experience of machining with experience in Aerospace desirable.
- Experience of working on Hurco is essential.
- An ability to program and work with minimal supervision is a necessity.
- Experience of 3,2 & 5 Axis Machining
- Experience of working with graphite would be beneficial.
Hours of work are Monday to Thursday, 10 hours between 6am and 6pm, Friday is overtime which will be provided on a weeks notice, and parking is available.
