Join Pure Staff and work with our reliable and reputable long-term client in Wednesbury / Lichfield. This role will be based in Wednesbury until July 2025 when the position will be based out of Lichfield permanently. We've been the trusted UK recruitment partner for this client since 2020

We have a fantastic Temp to Perm job opportunity for a hardworking, experienced transport administrator to join their team.

Your role as a Transport Administrator

  • Originally working from Wednesbury until July 2025 when the role will be moved to Lichfield.
    • Plan department vehicle routes in line with department targets and inline with loading guidelines.
    • Using a routing platform to create and prioritise work load alongside internal customer system
    • Plan and organise store deliveries.
    • Organise routing for company location shoots
    • Booking vehicles for weekly cleans
    • Prepare delivery manifests for the next days routes which will also include returns labels
    • Maintain & update daily KPI reporting
    • Work alongside transport administration to organise vehicle services/garage repairs to minimise downtime and ensure routing is planned according to available vehicles.
    • Assist with raising and logging purchase orders
    • Process the administrative process of company returns
    • Using vehicle tracking, effectively track vehicles when needed.
    • Complete accident forms for vehicle RTA's as and when required and ensure efficiently reported to insurers and Transport Manager
    • Support the operation as and when needed for additional administrative support.

Necessary to apply for the role:

    • Minimum 2 years Transport/logistics office experience
    • High level computer literacy
    • Excellent time management
    • Strong literacy and numeracy (C grade GCSE's Maths and English)
