Workshop Manager/ Senior Engineer

This role would be ideal for a workshop manager or senior engineer looking to progress into a workshop managers role. Canadidate must have 3-5 years experience in the power generation industry.This role will include running of the day to day operations of the workshop, prioritising workload, scheduling engineers, parts ordering, aspects of this job will also be hands on so experience in diagnosing and reapairing of power generation equipment is essential. Machines rangefrom 20- 1250KVA running a wide variety of engines such as John Deere, Perkins, Cummins, FPT, Volvo, Kubota, Kohler ect so experience with these engines would be advantageous. In this role the candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of machines leaving the depot.

The ideal candidate would be flexible in their work undertaken. Have a keen eye for detail. Candidate must also be able to communicate efficiently with engineering teams, office staff and senior management, ensuringall paperwork is completed in a timely and efficiant mannor and adheringto company health and safety policies.

Qualifications

- 3 - 5 Years experience in diesel generator industry

- Workshop management experience (advantageous)

- Mechanical Engineering

- Electrical qualifications (advantageous)

- Fork lift truck tickets (advantageous)
