We are currently working with a leading structural steel fabrication company based in Wednesbury, who are expanding their team and seeking an experienced Structural fabricatorto join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and fabrication processes.
- Assemble and fabricate metal structures, components, and frameworks according to design specifications.
- Operate fabrication machinery and equipment, including saws, drills, and welding machines.
- Perform quality checks and inspections on fabricated products to ensure compliance with standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Structural Fabricator or similar role.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Experience with various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, etc.) and fabrication machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications in fabrication and welding (preferred).
