Hours: Monday to Friday (Day Shift)
Job Type: Permanent

We are looking for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join our Tipton-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician looking to grow their career within a reputable main dealer environment. You’ll be responsible for maintaining HGVs to the highest standards while delivering top-level service to customers.
Key Responsibilities of an HGV Mechanic
- Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs to manufacturer standards
- Carry out diagnostics and fault finding using industry tools and techniques
- Ensure all work is completed within agreed timeframes and quality standards
- Follow warranty procedures and keep accurate records of work and parts used
- Liaise with the parts team to ensure correct replacement parts are fitted
Requirements for an HGV Mechanic
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician or HGV Mechanic in a dealership or workshop environment (preferred)
- Level 3 technical qualification in HGV maintenance and repair
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Full UK Class 1 or 2 HGV driving licence (desirable)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
