Job Title: Transport Planner/Clerk (Temp to Perm)
Location:Currently Wednesbury, moving to Lichfield in August.
Hours:Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM start - 3:30 PM (40 hours) or 7:00 AM start - 3:00 PM (37.5 hours)
Pay Rate:12.60 per hour
Job Description:We are seeking a highly organised and efficient Transport Planner/Clerk to join our team on a temp-to-perm basis. This role involves route planning from start to finish, creating manifests for drivers, booking agency staff, and scheduling store deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and optimize routes for deliveries.
- Create and manage manifests for drivers.
- Book agency staff and coordinate store deliveries.
- Utilize Excel for planning and tracking.
- Navigate and understand maps effectively.
