- Mon-Thurs: 07:00 - 16:00
- Fri: 07:00 - 13:00
Pay & Benefits
- 13.00 per hour base rate
- + 1.00 p/h Attendance Bonus (awarded for completing 40 hours per week)
- + 1.00 p/h Production Bonus (based on meeting daily productivity targets)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder/Fabricator to join a specialist engineering team. The role involves producing bespoke, non-standard tarmac containers, offering variety beyond standard haulage container fabrication.
Key Responsibilities of a Mig Welder
- MIG welding and fabrication of tarmac containers
- Assembling and fitting components following drawings and instructions
- Working to daily production targets
- Maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Adhering to health & safety guidelines at all times
Required Skills & Experience
- MIG Welding - Essential
- TIG Welding - Desirable
- Previous fabrication experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
