Job Title: Repair Centre Re-plug Engineer
Location: Corby
Salary: £25,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday - overtime available
Interaction Recruitment are looking for a Repair Centre Re-plug Engineer to join our established client in Corby.
The main purpose of the role is to carry out re-plugging and testing of appliances.
Job Specification:
- To carry out Re - Plugging and safety testing of appliances
- Accurate completion & record keeping of Re-plug / inspection / repair data
- Perform all other duties as reasonably required that are consistent with both training and experience
- Maintain effective working relationships
- As team member, to contribute to overall success of team and the Company goals by maintaining regular attendance, punctuality, focus and professionalism at all times
- Maintain tidy work area and report any health and safety issues to your Line Manager
- Accurate recording of parts usage & stock levels
- To carry out quality control inspections / modifications as and when required on new stock
- Attend all training courses supplied internally and externally, classroom & online courses
- Ensure that all online training is completed within the assigned timescale
- Disposing of appliances and unused material.
Person Specification:
- Must have electrical experience and able to pass a short test prior to interview
- Must be able to work unsupervised
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated
- Flexible working attitude
