Location: Oakham/Wellingborough
Pay: 15.00 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

About the Role
We are looking for someone who genuinely loves the craft of baking. This role suits a baker who takes pride in every fold, every proof, and every buttery layer, and who enjoys producing high-quality baked goods consistently.
The Role
- Creating a range of croissants, pains au chocolat, brioche and seasonal specials
- Working dough from start to finish, including mixing, lamination, shaping, proofing and baking
- Following recipes and daily production plans to maintain consistency
- Monitoring dough development, butter temperature and proofing conditions
- Supporting stock checks, rotation and ordering ingredients when required
- Maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards with a clean-as-you-go approach
- Assisting with audits, inspections and compliance requirements
About You
- Experience in baking or pastry, including home bakers looking to turn their passion into a career
- Ability to work at pace while maintaining high quality standards
- Strong attention to detail and pride in finished products
