Production Operator
We are currently looking for 2moulders to join our production team to assist with the manufacture of a comprehensive range of moulded plastic containers for the food and general industries using rotational moulding and numerous hand finishing processes.
This is a permanent position, on a day shift. It is possible that a second shift may be introduced so flexibility to working hours would be desirable and negotiable. Good prospects for progression.
The role involves the loading and unloading ofmoulding machines along with finishing the products to our high standard using a combination of hand and power tools. Experience within a moulding or manufacturing environment would be advantageous and some heavy lifting within a factory environment is required. However, full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading of a moulding machine.
- Weighing of moulding materials
- Hand trimming of completed products with hand power tools (Jigsaws and cordless drills).
- Manufacture products to our exacting high standards
- Housekeeping
- Health & Safety adherence
Requirements:
- A 'can-do' attitude to work.
- Excellent timekeeping & reliability.
- Experience with hand tools is essential.
- A minimum of 2 years factory and/or warehouse experience helpful but full training can be provided.
- Fork lift counterbalance license advantageous.
