We are seeking a skilled Electrical Project Engineer to join a leading food manufacturing company in Northamptonshire. In this role, you will lead a variety of technical projects from concept through to completion, ensuring the continuous improvement of the company's impressive facility.
Responsibilities of Electrical Project Engineer
* Lead and manage electrical projects within the food manufacturing site, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
* Ability to engage with stakeholders and manage contractors.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimise electrical systems and processes.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout all project phases.
* Monitor project CAPEX budgets and schedules, adjusting as necessary to meet objectives.
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement innovative solutions.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience as an Electrical Project Engineer, preferably within the food manufacturing or FMCG sector.
* Strong understanding of electrical systems, PLCs, and process control instrumentation.
* Experience with AutoCAD and project management tools.
* Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND, degree) are essential.
* IOSH/Prince 2 certification is advantageous but not essential.
