About the Role:

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with additional needs? Do you thrive in a supportive, inclusive, and energetic school environment? Hays Education is currently recruiting dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join welcoming schools in the Wellingborough area.


You'll be responsible for:

  • Delivering personalised one-to-one and small group support for pupils with a variety of special educational needs
  • Collaborating with class teachers and SENCOs to implement and monitor individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Creating a safe, structured, and engaging learning space
  • Supporting pupils with communication, sensory, and emotional challenges
  • Assisting with classroom organisation, resources, and inclusive learning activities


What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient mindset
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Prior experience working with children with SEN (in schools or other settings) is highly desirable.
  • A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is beneficial, though not essential.
