JOB TITLE: Warehouse and Stock Controller (Up to 12 month contract)

LOCATION: Wellington, Somerset

SALARY: Up to circa £35,000 PA DOE

BENEFITS: 26 days of holiday plus bank holidays, Christmas shutdown, discounted products, cycle to work scheme, BUPA healthcare

HOURS: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (flexible on start time between 8am and 9am)

We are seeking a Warehouse and Stock Controller to join a global leader in manufacturing and packaging solutions who are known for their innovation, sustainability, and diverse products. You will be responsible for analysing unused stock, reviewing waste, and exploring other uses for components. This is a contract position, starting as soon as possible for up to 12 months, therefore you must be able to commit to the full duration of the role.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analysing unused stock
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to investigate stock
  • Reviewing product waste
  • Exploring alternative uses for product components
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant waste handling regulations
  • Liaising with department managers to develop waste reduction plans
  • Monitoring and advising on waste management within production departments

KEY SKILLS:

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Previous experience of working in a stock or warehouse position
  • Ability to identify and implement sustainable solutions
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Experience in manufacturing or packaging industries is a plus
  • Proactive and able to work autonomously or as part of a team
  • Strong IT skills and high attention to detail
