Structural Engineer | Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire聽
We're supporting a well-regarded structural consultancy based in Welwyn Garden City that is looking to appoint a Structural Engineer with around 3+ years of experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone ready to take on more responsibility and progress toward Chartership in a technically strong and supportive environment.
You'll be working across a wide variety of residential and commercial schemes - from bespoke home alterations to multi-million-pound developments - all while being mentored by experienced Chartered Engineers who will actively support your progression.
What you'll be doing:
路Carrying out structural analysis and design work across steel, concrete, timber, and masonry
路Preparing structural calculations, drawings, and reports in line with UK regulations
路Working alongside architects, contractors, and clients to ensure efficient project delivery
路Attending site inspections and contributing to project meetings
路Getting involved in projects from concept through to construction stage
路Supporting your journey toward Chartership with ICE or IStructE
What we're looking for:
路A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
路Around 3+ years' UK consultancy experience
路Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., TEDDS, Tekla, Robot, or similar)
路Sound knowledge of UK building regulations and codes of practice
路Good communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving attitude
路Eligibility to live and work in the UK
路A full UK driving licence is desirable
